Thomas Edison, born in a small town in Ohio, was deaf by the age of 13. He had less than three months of formal education, yet he still managed to become the foremost inventor of all time!
Two girls competing to get the grand prize in the school science place are both whisked away into the past by entering a mysterious library. There, they are transported to 1878, meet Edison himself in his Menlo Park lab, and watch him and his team invent the light bulb!
